All About Kiriş
Kiriş is a small coastal town located near Kemer in Antalya Province, Turkey, with a history closely linked to the ancient and modern developments of the region. Historically, Kiriş and its surroundings were part of the ancient Lycian civilization, which flourished along the southwestern coast of Turkey. Nearby ruins, such as Phaselis and Olympos, are testaments to this rich past, highlighting Kiriş’s connection to these important commercial and cultural centers.
Adventure 1. Goynuk Canyon, Antalya Turkey
Göynük Canyon, located near the Kemer resort in Antalya, is a natural gem perfect for lovers of adventure and relaxation. Part of the famous Lycian Way route, the canyon impresses with its rocky walls, clear rivers and lush vegetation.
Visitors can explore the spectacular trails on foot, crossing suspension bridges and admiring the wild landscapes. The more adventurous can try canyoning, swimming in natural pools or rafting on the cold waters of the canyon. The area is perfect for memorable photos and moments of peace in the middle of nature.
With an ideal mix of adventure and picturesque landscapes, Göynük Canyon is an unmissable attraction for anyone visiting Antalya.
2. Pamukkale and Cleopatra’s Pools
Pamukkale, Hierapolis and Cleopatra’s Pool form one of the most impressive natural and historical sites in Turkey. Located in the Denizli province, these attractions offer a unique combination of spectacular scenery and ancient remains.
Pamukkale, known as the “Cotton Castle”, impresses with its white travertine terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal springs. At the top are the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis, an important Roman center with a well-preserved theater, thermal baths and impressive necropolis.
A special attraction is Cleopatra’s Pool, where visitors can relax in crystal-clear thermal waters, among ancient submerged columns. Considered a spring with therapeutic properties, this pool is the perfect place for an unforgettable experience.
3. Mount Olympos (Tahtalı Dağı)
Mount Olympos (Tahtalı Dağı) in Turkey is a spectacular destination located in the Olympos-Beydağları National Park, near the town of Kemer, Antalya. At an altitude of 2,365 meters, the mountain offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding region.
One of the main attractions is the Olympos cable car, which takes visitors close to the top, offering incredible views. The mountain is ideal for hiking, paragliding, and exploring the ruins of the ancient city of Olympos, which lies at its foot. Nearby, Cirali Beach and the eternal flames of the Chimera complete the experience.
